Ever wonder why grassfed beef costs more than the supermarket variety? At TX Bar Grassfed Beef, we believe in transparency, not just about how we raise our cattle, but about the price you pay.
In this blog, we’re breaking down the real cost of grassfed beef so you can feel confident about what’s going on your plate.
1. Quality Over Quantity
Grassfed beef is raised slower and more naturally, no shortcuts, no feedlots. This means fewer cattle per acre, more time spent grazing, and ultimately, better quality meat. It’s not about mass production, it’s about premium, nutrient-rich beef you can trust.

2. What Goes Into the Cost
Here’s what your purchase helps support:
- Natural grazing methods on rotational pasture systems
- No hormones or antibiotics, ever
- Sustainable farming practices that protect the land
- Animal welfare healthy cattle, raised with care
- Local, small-scale production not factory farming
3. Bulk Buying = Better Value
While a grassfed steak might seem pricey on its own, buying a half or whole beef gives you much better value per pound, and fills your freezer for months.
