How does it work?
When buying half a cow from us you must wait for someone else to buy the other half of the cow before we can process your order. Don’t worry, we will look after all of this and pair you up with someone, so you won’t have to go find the other person!

Economies of scale
From an economical perspective, buying half a cow can save you money in the long run. It is more convenient to buy in bulk, compared to buying from your local supermarket every day- all you need to worry about is finding somewhere to store it!
When stored in a freezer the meat can last up to twelve months. Half a beef usually produces enough meat to sufficiently feed a family of four, three times a week for twelve months. This allows you to cook a variety of meals, meaning you won’t get bored of eating red meat all the time.
Better quality meat
One of the most beneficial things about buying half a cow is that you know exactly where your beef is coming from and you’re supporting a local business! When buying half a cow, you can rest assured that your beef is of the highest quality, free from both antibiotics and hormones.

Longevity
The meat can last up to 2-3 years if it remains frozen and the vacuum-sealed package is not punctured or compromised. If you think a full cow’s worth of cuts is too much, half a cow is an excellent option. You’ll still receive roughly 200-250 pounds of beef, although this can vary slightly by cow.
This option allows you to plan your meals around high-quality beef. You can also customize your half-beef order, choosing the specific cuts you want and how you would like them wrapped.
